Effective against 98 percent of all pathogenic gram (+) and gram (-) bacteria; also effective against yeasts, candida (albicans, tropical, pseudo-tropical) and fungi, including aspergillus, thereby preventing aflatoxin production. It is antiparasitic and prevents fermentation in the intestines; for diarrhoea, colitis, amoebic dysentery, enterotoxaemia, bacterial cystitis, and urinary tract infections with E. coli and tropical infections accompanied by fever.
